Plant Prints: Riso Workshop

US$150.00

April 11, 2026
12:00 – 3:00pm ET at Posy Press (Goat Farm)

Join us at Posy Press for a hands-on Risograph workshop exploring printmaking through natural forms. Using scanned plant materials, we’ll create two-color prints that highlight organic textures, layering, and composition.

During this three-hour session, you’ll work directly with plant materials to build your own compositions, experimenting with how natural shapes and textures translate into bold, layered prints.

Participants will create and print a two-color composition and leave with a small edition of 30 prints on 8.5" × 11" French Paper.

This is a guided, participatory experience focused on making. Together, we’ll move through scanning, layering, and printing, with support along the way as you explore different ink combinations from Posy Press’s collection of Risograph inks.

We’ll work with a selection of gathered and studio-provided plant materials.

No prior experience is needed. This workshop is ideal for anyone curious about Risograph printing or drawn to a slower, process-driven approach to image-making. It’s designed as a shared creative experience—something to enjoy, explore, and leave with a set of prints you’ll want to keep.
