Workshops
Intro to Riso
This session covers the basics of risograph printing: how the machine works, how colors layer, and what makes the process unique. You’ll learn how to prepare simple artwork, choose inks, and understand the small variations that give RISO its character. You’ll leave with a foundational grasp of the process and a set of your own prints.
Vector Illustration for Riso
A focused workshop on building vector artwork specifically for risograph printing. We’ll walk through color separation, working with limited palettes, and preparing files for multi-layer output. This class is well-suited for designers and illustrators who want clean, precise artwork that still benefits from RISO’s texture and depth.
Riso Animation
This workshop explores how to create short looping animations using risograph frames. You’ll learn how to export animated sequences, print them, and then compile them into a simple animation. It’s a practical introduction to combining motion design with analog printing.

Risograph printing
Risograph is a printing process that resembles screen printing, using stencils and soy-based inks to create vibrant, multi-color prints.
Each color requires a separate stencil and ink drum, so multi-color prints are made by running the paper through the machine multiple times.
Artists and designers often use this process for its unique, handmade aesthetic, which can include slight imperfections such as misregistration and overlapping, making each piece unique.
