Kelsey Smith is Posy Press’s 2026 Membership Artist of the Year. Through this annual program, we select one Atlanta artist to support through membership printing, collaborative editions, and ongoing promotion of their work.
This print was produced as a split edition between Kelsey and Posy Press.
What is a split edition?
A split edition is a collaborative printmaking arrangement in which the artist and print studio divide the finished edition. Rather than paying the full production cost upfront, the artist receives a portion of the prints, while the studio retains the remaining prints in exchange for printing, materials, and studio labor.
Both the artist and the studio may sell, trade, exhibit, or archive their respective portions of the edition.
