Posy Press + futures Lab

Posy Press launched through the ATL DTN Artist Residency, a collaboration between Atlanta Downtown and Fulton County Public Art’s Futures Lab exploring intersections of design, technology, and public art.

The residency featured a series of looping digital projections inspired by the architectural forms and rhythms of downtown Atlanta, translating the layered textures and color language of Risograph printing into motion for public display.

Throughout the residency, Samantha Richardson, as Posy Press, hosted open studios and public programming at Atlanta Underground and later debuted its Goat Farm studio during SITE, a one-night contemporary art festival. Visitors experienced projected animations alongside Risograph process materials including contact sheets, color separations, and in-progress frames. During the event, Posy Press also designed the official SITE festival t-shirt, printed by neighboring studio Ink Jammers.

The animations were later displayed on digital signage throughout downtown Atlanta, extending the project beyond gallery spaces and into the city itself.
