Recently, we partnered with The Sapphic Sun to risograph print for their 16-page newspaper for the Pride Month issue.

They traveled to Atlanta to print with us while their local press was under repair. Together, we took the publication from color separated pdf files to hundreds of printed editions in a single day, using 8 inks from our collection of 15 RISO colors.

As longtime RISO publishers, they shared that they appreciated the expanded color options available in our studio, the care we took throughout production, and having a comfortable space to spend the day printing together. As fellow women-led businesses, it was especially meaningful to collaborate on a project that reflects the power of independent publishing and community storytelling. Projects like this are also a reminder of why many independent publications continue to choose RISO: it’s a cost-effective way to produce vibrant work at scale.
