Your consultation is a dedicated hour to work one-on-one with our team to prepare your project for Risograph printing.
We'll discuss your goals, review artwork, troubleshoot files, explore ink and paper options, and work through production considerations together. We'll make adjustments as time allows and help identify any additional support your project might need.
Our goal is for you to leave with a clear understanding of your options and the next steps to move forward confidently.

Absolutely. Posy Press is both a design studio and a Risograph print shop. Whether you're starting with an idea, developing an existing design, or looking for creative direction, we can help.
Your Riso consultation is a great place to discuss your vision, explore possibilities, and determine what kind of support your project might need.
While original design services aren't included in standard printing prices, we can discuss additional design support, develop a scope, and provide a separate estimate based on your needs.
-
Yes. In-person consultations include up to 10 test prints of one side of a single sheet of artwork to evaluate color and legibility.
Interested in testing multiple ink colors, additional artwork, or double-sided printing? Extended proofing options are available when booking your consultation.
Virtual consultations do not include physical test printing.
-
That's part of what we're here to help with. We'll review your existing files, identify potential issues, and work through adjustments together as time allows.
If your project needs more extensive preparation or original design services, we can discuss additional support during your appointment.
-
Absolutely. You don't need to be local to print with us. We offer virtual consultations, collaborative file preparation, and online ordering, so we can guide your project from start to finish wherever you're located.
While virtual consultations don't include physical test prints, we'll help you review your artwork, make informed production decisions, and prepare your files remotely.
Need your finished prints shipped? Let us know during your consultation so we can discuss delivery options and associated costs. Shipping is not included in standard pricing.

Risograph printing has a character all its own. Slight variations in color, ink coverage, texture, and registration (the alignment of ink layers) are natural parts of the process. Occasional roller marks and other printing irregularities may also occur.
While we take care to produce consistent, high-quality prints, Riso isn't designed for perfect color matching or precision registration. These charming imperfections are part of what makes each print unique.
New to Risograph printing? Our Intro to Riso workshop is a great place to start. We offer both group classes and private sessions to help you get familiar with the process, prepare artwork, and explore its creative possibilities.
